BARCELONACUP 2009

The Barcelona Cup is an International Recreational Football Tournament with the goal of offering girls and boys from all over the world the possibility to combine football with tourism and fun, also allowing relatives managers and companions the opportunity to visit the marvellous city of Barcelona.

Our tournament takes place annually during the first two weeks of July, and its principal characteristic is the commitment to quality services.
The accommodations are located in the residential areas of the city and the sports installations are unbeatable.

It is the only Recreational football tournament with its games in the installations of the two first division teams: Futbol Club Barcelona, and Real Club Deportivo Español,.
It also counts on the stadiums of other important clubs in the city.

The meals are also worth noting, as one of the points most valued by our participants.

Its first edition was in 1997, and today it is the most international tournament celebrated in Spain and one of the most prestigious of all Europe.

We already have the first registrations for next year and we have a lot of information requests from all around the world. That is why we think this edition will be the most international of all those held in Spain.

Another player who has taken place in “Barcelona Cup” is having a big success in the Spanish first division. Raúl García, with its team, Osasuna. We want to congratulate him and pay him a tribute by publishing a picture of him. We also want to take this opportunity to mention another winner who has taken place –and won- in our tournament: Andrés Iniesta from F.C. Barcelona.

Barcelona Cup counts with the Fútbol Club Barcelona installations and the Ciudad Deportiva del Real Club Deportivo Español, as well as the pitches of other national category teams from our city.
